Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for managing the production processes within the Screen-Printing and Production Receiving departments. Your primary focus will be ensuring operational efficiency, overseeing staff, and maintaining the equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise staff to ensure smooth production of goods, organizing and monitoring workflow
  • Achieve manufacturing objectives by setting clear job expectations, planning, and appraising job results, coaching, addressing employee performance, and enforcing company policies and procedures
  • Train and mentor employees through one-on-one sessions to support their development
  • Maintain workflow by continuously monitoring and improving processes, setting processing variables, observing control points and equipment, and coordinating resources across departments
  • Complete production plans by scheduling personnel, prioritizing tasks, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and reporting on production outcomes
  • Uphold quality standards by implementing and enforcing production guidelines
  • Ensure equipment is operational by scheduling repairs and evaluating new techniques and equipment
  • Provide critical production information by compiling and analyzing performance data and responding to inquiries
  • Develop and update systems and procedures by analyzing operational practices, record-keeping, and resource needs, and implementing necessary changes
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by educating staff on safety protocols and ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Resolve personnel issues by analyzing data, investigating concerns, identifying solutions, and recommending appropriate actions
  • Oversee the operations of both the Screen-Printing and Production Receiving departments

Requirements

  • Bilingual in both English and Spanish
  • Strong time and process management skills
  • Expertise in process improvement and efficiency
  • Knowledge of quality control and safety standards
  • Effective team management and coaching abilities
  • Strong decision-making and production planning skills
  • Keen attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills
  • High school diploma
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Prior supervisory experience
