Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Hygiene Coordinator to join our team. As a Hygiene Coordinator, you will play a critical role in managing the hygiene department's schedule, ensuring patient satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Educate patients about their treatment plans and associated fees
  • Help patients understand their dental insurance benefits and calculate their financial responsibility
  • Work with outside patient care financing companies to provide patients with a wide range of financial options
  • Collaborate with our financial team to address and collect patient balances
  • Manage the hygiene schedule to ensure efficient use of time and resources
  • Mentor new team members and provide guidance and support as needed
Requirements
  • 3 or more years of experience in a dental front desk or insurance position
  • Flexibility in regards to scheduling, including early morning, late evenings, and some holidays
  • Excellent attention to detail and high follow-through
  • Ability to calculate percentages accurately and quickly using basic math skills
  • Positive, friendly, and enthusiastic attitude
  • Outstanding teamwork skills and ability to work with a diverse group of people
