Job SummaryWe are seeking a Full-Time Patient Coordinator at our Babylon Office. The ideal candidate will execute all front office duties, provide support to patients, providers, and support staff, and have a flexible schedule.
Responsibilities- Handle all incoming phone calls, scheduling-related tasks, and online leads in a timely and knowledgeable fashion.
- Promote a professional and welcoming atmosphere to enhance quality of service and care offered to patients and providers.
- Understand provider to patient flow and anticipate provider's next steps to the best of their ability.
- Perform inventory responsibilities and stocking of supplies and equipment as requested.
- Attend all in-house training and continued education opportunities.
- Healthcare experience is preferred.
- Medical receptionist experience is preferred.
- Experience using EMR software and patient scheduling systems is preferred.
- Must be computer savvy and familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Excellent patient relation and customer services skills.
- Must be professional, reliable, and dedicated.
- Open availability to work during weekdays and weekends.
- Full-time employees (30+ hours per week) are eligible for medical, HSA/FSA, dental, vision, and 401K benefits.
- Part-time employees (less than 30 hours) are eligible for dental, vision, and 401K benefits.
