About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Solutions Sales Representative to join our team at Defenders. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and revenue through the sale of our comprehensive security solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sell and promote our security solutions to new and existing customers, identifying and capitalizing on business opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their security needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
  • Work closely with internal departments to ensure seamless delivery of security solutions and excellent customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity, using this knowledge to inform sales strategies and drive business growth.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue growth objectives, consistently delivering high levels of performance and results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or three to five years of professional experience in high-volume sales and a fast-paced environment.
  • A minimum of five years of industry experience as a successful sales representative, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong knowledge of security systems, including fire alarm/life-safety, intrusion alarm, access control, video surveillance, and low-voltage systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong negotiation and prospecting skills, with the ability to identify and capitalize on business opportunities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple tasks and deadlines to deliver results.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel, as required.
Work Environment

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Normal office/field environment. Construction sites and customers' facilities. Must be able to work extended hours to support business requirements.

Physical Requirements
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, sit; twist, use hands to handle, push, pull or feel, reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to approximately twenty-five (25) pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
