Position Overview
The Sales Planning and Reporting Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting functions that enhance productivity. This includes responsibilities in planning, reporting, quota management, and optimizing sales processes.
The Analyst collaborates with both retail and wholesale teams to define business objectives, serving as a key contact for ongoing reporting and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes within the sales organization
- Actively monitor and ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and consistency in sales planning efforts
- Manage weekly replenishment reporting and coordinate with the sales planner for appropriate allocation
- For new boutiques, establish proper allocation of product categories based on regional and overall sales, including quantity per sub-collection
- Coordinate planning activities with other departments and Brand Managers as necessary
- Analyze market trends and research new retail concepts and tools to drive growth
- Develop analytical initiatives and respond to requests from brand teams
- Ensure the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and essential intelligence for the sales organization
- Recommend updates to existing reports or assist in creating new reporting tools as required
Professional Qualifications
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Proven ability to manage analytically intensive projects
- Understanding of business and organizational planning principles and processes
- Strong analytical, judgment, and decision-making abilities; excellent oral and written communication skills; systems analysis and evaluation capabilities
- Demonstrated experience in strategic planning for large organizations
- Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software
- Experience with SAP is preferred
