Clinical Nursing Supervisor

The Clinical Nursing Supervisor is a key member of our healthcare team, responsible for overseeing and coordinating direct and indirect patient care activities during their assigned shift. This role involves allocating resources to ensure efficient, effective, and compassionate care, as well as providing clinical and administrative leadership. The Clinical Nursing Supervisor promotes the nursing profession and represents the organization positively.
Responsibilities:
• Visits patient care units to evaluate staffing needs and administers the distribution and utilization of personnel.
• Participates in quality improvement projects to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Assesses patient placement and care needs, and follows emergency protocols as necessary.
• Mentors staff to develop their skills and knowledge, and responds to emergent situations as required.
• Ensures adherence to hospital procedures and policies, and promotes a culture of safety and excellence.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's Degree or current enrollment in a program, along with a Registered Nurse license from the state.
• Certification is highly desirable, and Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
• At least three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting with demonstrated leadership potential.
