Job Overview

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a Store Manager to guide our retail team, enhance sales performance, and guarantee outstanding customer service. This position requires a deep appreciation for leathercrafting, Tandy Leather products, and fostering team growth.

POSITION TITLE

Retail Store Manager

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Retail Operations & Sales Management

  • Boost sales and implement effective strategies to meet objectives.
  • Develop and execute sales initiatives that align with company goals.
  • Ensure a robust retail presence within the store.
  • Establish community partnerships to enhance business opportunities.
  • Oversee the implementation of operational policies.
  • Uphold brand standards and deliver remarkable customer experiences.

Customer Engagement

  • Attract new customers and cultivate lasting relationships.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and foster a welcoming retail atmosphere.
  • Identify customer needs and provide effective solutions.
  • Represent the Tandy Leather brand with enthusiasm.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Set a positive example and mentor the team for enhanced performance.
  • Foster a nurturing environment for professional development.
  • Recruit and onboard staff to fulfill business requirements.
  • Offer ongoing coaching and growth opportunities.

Leathercrafting Expertise & Product Knowledge

  • Organize classes to promote leathercrafting skills.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends in leathercrafting.
  • Instruct team members and customers in leathercrafting techniques.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of Tandy Leather products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in retail management.
  • Proficient in store operations.
  • Adaptable and eager to learn new skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Committed to delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales.
  • Team-oriented with excellent communication skills.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Willingness to accommodate varied work schedules.
  • Adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Basic computer proficiency required.
  • Knowledge of leathercrafting is an advantage.
