ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team in Wilkes-Barre. As a key member of our staff, you will play a crucial role in providing quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Job OverviewOur ideal candidate has a minimum of 1+ years of experience as a school psychologist, with a Master's degree in School Psychology and a valid PA School Psychologist license. The successful candidate will have strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of each student.

Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one and group counseling services to students.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify student needs.
  • Document and monitor all data related to student progress.
  • Facilitate Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes.
  • Offer testing services to support student success.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure comprehensive support for students.
  • Provide consultation services to parents and staff members.

Requirements
  • A Master's degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid PA School Psychologist license.
  • Active PA Clearances.
  • Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and behavioral challenges.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • The ability to adapt instruction to meet the individual needs of each student.
