Portfolio Manager Associate

Job SummaryWe are seeking an Associate Portfolio Manager to join our team, responsible for assisting the investment strategy team in providing investment and portfolio research to enhance the investment selection and communication process. This role will conduct market research, complete daily portfolio management workflows, and contribute to team meetings by sharing insights based on personal experience and expertise.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct analysis on individual securities, sectors, and industries as directed and present findings
- Research and implement custom models using platforms such as FactSet and other portfolio management tools
- Present findings in oral and/or written form to appropriate individuals or groups
- Conduct daily trading, including portfolio set-up and maintenance
- Set-up trades for block trades and communicate with proper counter parties
- Fulfill trade requests from advisor team and resolve trade errors
- Attain and maintain expert level knowledge with Orion and other software
- Monitor trading performance and work with external custodians trading platforms
- Oversee portfolio operations, including GIPS compliance, software updates, and trade reconciliation
- Bachelor's degree
- Progress toward Charted Financial Analyst designation required
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Services or related field
- 1-2 years of experience in portfolio management or investment research
- In-depth knowledge of all securities products
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and advanced Excel skills
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Orion preferred
- Familiarity with custom models including FactSet highly preferred
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Strong quantitative, financial analysis, and problem-solving skills
- Highly flexible and adaptable, with a strong attention to detail
- Proficiency in Chinese preferred
