About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our team at Madison West Comprehensive Treatment Center. As a key member of our counseling team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality, patient-centered care to individuals seeking recovery from opioid use disorder.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to patients, utilizing evidence-based practices and techniques.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, taking into account each patient's unique needs and goals.
  • Conduct initial and follow-up assessments to evaluate patient progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and coordination of services.
  • Document patient care, treatment, and incidents in a clear and concise manner, adhering to established protocols and regulations.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and industry developments.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a social or health services field (e.g., counseling, psychology, social work).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in addiction recovery and/or medication-assisted treatment (MAT) environment.
  • Current licensure or certification in a relevant field (e.g., SACIT, SAC, CSAC, LPC, LMFT, LCSW).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
