Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at UNC Health Care. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and teaching diagnostic procedures in the field of Nuclear Medicine.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and operate highly technical instruments to acquire diagnostic images.
  • Analyze images and evaluate for correctness, ensuring accurate diagnoses and treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with Nuclear Medicine physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure accurate and safe administration of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Nuclear Medicine technology and techniques.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Registered as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) or registry eligible and become registered within one (1) year from date of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
