Nuclear Medicine Technologist Position

Tact Staff is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a travel position in a reputable healthcare facility.
Job Requirements- Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Discipline: Allied Health Professional
- Employment Type: Travel
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine, with experience in preparing patients and conducting diagnostic and therapeutic examinations. They will also be responsible for updating and logging contamination surveys for daily shipments of radiopharmaceuticals, in accordance with NRC regulations.
Responsibilities- Perform radiologic examinations timely, accurately, and safely for radiologist interpretation
- Assure the radiology suite and adjacent clinical and common areas are prepared to receive patients and visitors
- Support a culture of safety
The successful candidate will be a certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) and have a strong understanding of nuclear medicine equipment, PACS, and RIS. Knowledge of bloodborne pathogens and universal precautions is also essential.
Preferred Qualifications- Operating knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment, PACS, and RIS
- Knowledge of bloodborne pathogens and universal precautions
- Strongly preferred: Knowledge of IQ-SPECT Software
