Job Summary

The Catering Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and achieving sales targets for the hotel's catering and convention services. This role requires a strong understanding of the hotel's operations, as well as excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively solicit and secure new business opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and sales targets
  • Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and prospects to drive repeat business and new sales opportunities
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales and other hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of catering and convention services
  • Monitor and evaluate market trends to stay ahead of the competition and identify new business opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure high levels of guest satisfaction
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; previous catering sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products
  • Valid driver's license for the applicable state
