About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and creative Catering Sales Manager to join our team at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth in the catering and private dining departments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to drive revenue growth and increase market share
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure exceptional customer service and satisfaction
  • Collaborate with the restaurant team to develop and implement marketing plans and sales budgets
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform sales strategies and tactics
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients and stakeholders
Requirements
  • 2+ years of hospitality experience, preferably in a restaurant or related banquet setting
  • Previous structured sales training course is a plus
  • Strong sales and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of driving revenue growth
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software systems quickly
