Portfolio Growth Strategist for Government Deposits

We are seeking a seasoned business development leader to join our team as a Portfolio Growth Strategist for Government Deposits. In this critical role, you will be responsible for expanding our government deposit portfolio while managing and guiding the portfolios of your team members.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in legal banking or related services with expertise in managing full-service relationships. They will also possess advanced knowledge of general banking operations and proven experience in business development within the government sector.

Our expansion into new markets has created a need for a high-performing business development leader who can drive strategy, cultivate strong relationships, and navigate complex government relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and expand the portfolio of sourced government deposit business.
  • Develop and drive a nimble, innovative growth strategy to source government business.
  • Partner with Marketing and Product teams to develop messaging and servicing offering platforms that drive success.
  • Develop and execute an industry plan to expand brand awareness and additional sources of new business.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field.
  • 8+ years of related experience in legal banking or other related service/industry, with experience managing full service (deposit, loan, and credit) relationships.
  • Advanced knowledge of general banking operations.
  • Proven experience in business development within the government sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to navigate complex government relationships and work with decision-makers at all levels.
  • Experience leading sales and developing a sales strategy.
  • Strong speaking and writing skills for internal and external audiences.

Compensation Package:

The salary range for this position is estimated at $200,000 - $257,000 based on location. The role may also be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned and restricted stock.
