Electrical Project Manager - Senior Electrical

Our client, a reputable Electrical General Contractor, is seeking a seasoned Senior Electrical Project Manager to lead their thriving construction team. With a strong background in electrical general contracting and a proven track record in project management, construction, and budget management, the ideal candidate will excel in this role.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of electrical construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely, budget-friendly, and high-quality results.
  • Coordinate and supervise project team members, including engineers, contractors, and consultants, to guarantee seamless project execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective solutions to mitigate them.
  • Prepare and present detailed project reports to stakeholders, including project status, financial updates, and any changes to the project scope or schedule.
  • Ensure adherence to the highest standards of safety and quality, and compliance with relevant regulations and codes.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in electrical general contracting, with a focus on project management in the commercial construction industry.
  • Proven experience in managing large-scale electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction methods, and safety regulations.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
  • Strong financial acumen, with experience in budget management, cost estimation, and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Professional certification in Project Management (PMP) or equivalent is a plus.
