We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to support our project management team in the day-to-day project assignments.
Key Responsibilities:- Technical review and accuracy of contract drawings, project specifications, and general constructability of miscellaneous and architectural metals
- R.F.I. coordination and technical aspects of structural steel, miscellaneous metals, and architectural metals from inception through construction
- Participation in Building Information Modeling processes and coordination with General Contractors and participating trades
- Support of document control procedures and importation of shop drawings into system controls (Tekla)
- Support of the project management team in all aspects of the project lifecycle and participation in site visits and project meetings
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field preferred
- 1 year of project management experience in the construction industry preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or other specialized certification preferred
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with the ability to use specialized software and spreadsheets for collaboration and time management
- Familiarity or understanding of Tekla is preferred but not required
