Senior Financial Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our team at Adamo Security. As a key member of our finance department, you will play a critical role in managing and analyzing financial data, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Assist with financial accounting, accounts payable, receivables, month-end closing, and payroll operations.
• Implement and maintain internal controls over accounting functions to minimize risk.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager to prepare financial reports in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles or financial reporting standards.
• Support the payables process to ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices.
• Manage customer invoicing and track outstanding receivables, ensuring payments are received according to agreed-upon terms.
• Resolve invoicing discrepancies and address payment issues with stakeholders.
• Assist external auditors and provide required statements and information for the annual audit.
• Review budget reports and ensure departments are accountable for their expenditures.
• Support payroll processing, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Maintain accurate workers' compensation insurance requirements and regulations, including classifications for all employees.
• Reconcile and report on corporate credit card activity.
• Oversee invoice management, including verification, approval, and reconciliation processes.
• Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures.
• Comply with local, state, and federal government requirements.
• Identify and recommend updates to accounting processes and procedures.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
• General journal entry knowledge.

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or business administration.
• Construction and/or manufacturing accounting experience.
• Seven years or more of related experience.
• Experience using ADP, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar software.
• Job costing experience.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to lift 15 pounds at times.
