Position Title: IT Project Manager/Insurance Business Process (Remote)

Role Overview:

In this role, you will provide essential project support under the guidance of a project manager, focusing on the continuous assessment, evaluation, and enhancement of business processes to align with organizational strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver project management support to ensure effective implementation and enhance efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and customer service. Collaborate with project managers to identify business needs and partner with leaders in project planning.
  2. Conduct analysis and provide decision-making support to drive key business priorities. Collaborate with various disciplines to gather insights, perform analyses, and offer recommendations for continuous improvement. Prepare comprehensive reports utilizing relevant data.
  3. Assist in defining performance metrics for processes, assess data availability, and guide operational reporting teams on necessary measures while developing tools to monitor process performance.
  4. Generate project documentation, including status updates, project plans, presentations, meeting minutes, and other pertinent materials.
  5. Support the project manager in resource allocation, schedule maintenance, team guidance, and administrative tasks.
  6. May serve as a business project manager for initiatives with limited external stakeholder engagement.
  7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Reporting Structure:
Typically reports to managerial positions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  1. Understanding of the insurance industry, along with knowledge of the company's products, services, and objectives.
  2. Strong analytical, organizational, and planning capabilities.
  3. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  4. Expertise in business process modeling and analysis.
  5. Ability to facilitate meetings of moderate complexity.
  6. Solid grasp of project management principles.
  7. Familiarity with change management principles and methodologies.
  8. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, both verbal and written.
  9. Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal supervision.

Experience:
A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management focused on insurance business process design.
