Job Summary

The Group Account Manager I serves as a key liaison between our sales and account management functions and large employer group clients. This role is responsible for developing and executing sound sales strategies focused on profitability, retention, and growth.

Essential Functions
  • Develops and implements sales strategies to drive retention and growth.
  • Serves as a lead strategic contact between assigned clients and our health plan.
  • Identifies and pursues community service and business networking opportunities.
  • Maintains regular contact and communication with leadership regarding account activities.
  • Analyzes financial reports and market research data to inform sales strategies.
Key Success Factors
  • Experience in HMO, group health insurance, marketing, or a related field is required.
  • Seasoned sales and service professional with a proven ability to understand client needs and communicate effectively with team members.
  • Able to prioritize workload and set expectations to deliver exceptional client satisfaction.
