Job Title: Senior Attorney, Clean Energy Program

Earthjustice is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Attorney to join our Clean Energy Program. As a Senior Attorney, you will play a critical role in advancing our mission to protect the environment and promote clean energy.

About the Role:
  • Develop and implement litigation and advocacy strategies to advance clean energy policies and practices.
  • Work with clients, partners, and stakeholders to identify and pursue opportunities for clean energy development and deployment.
  • Conduct research and analysis to inform policy and advocacy efforts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government officials, industry leaders, and community groups.
  • Collaborate with other Earthjustice teams, including communications, development, and policy and legislation, to advance our mission.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in litigation and advocacy, with a focus on energy and environmental law.
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to conduct complex research and analysis.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Strong understanding of clean energy policies and practices, with the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to advance our mission.
