Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Manager/Senior Manager to maximize the impact of our clean energy education and training programs. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, a passion for sustainability and clean energy, and experience in training or educational program development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the planning and execution of the clean energy customer training programs within established project plans, timelines, and budgets.
  • Oversee the implementation of virtual and in-person training and clean energy customer activation in collaboration with CEBA partners in each country, as assigned.
  • Ensure our comprehensive training curriculum is accurate, complete, up-to-date and consistent across programs by keeping abreast of industry trends in a quickly evolving clean energy space.
  • Lead stakeholder outreach and engagement as well as planning, design, and facilitation of external convenings.
  • Structure and develop training materials that are engaging, informative, and accessible to all participants.
  • Monitor and assess the effectiveness of the training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics in collaboration with CEBA's learning expert.
  • Develop and present reports on program progress, outcomes, and key metrics to senior management and funders.
  • Liaise with internal teams (Communications, Global Policy and Markets, etc.), external partners, and stakeholders to gather requirements, align objectives, and ensure effective communication for the training programs.
  • Empower strategic planning by providing thought leadership on a range of priorities, including but not limited to supply chain engagement and clean energy procurement.
  • Lead the growth and development of CEBA Global Program colleagues through effective leadership, coaching, guidance, and daily engagement.
  • Support fundraising efforts.
Requirements
  • 7+ years' experience and Master's Degree or
  • 10+ years' experience and Bachelor's Degree or
  • 15+ years' experience if no higher degree
  • Proven experience in project management, preferably in the clean energy sector with a focus on training or educational programs.
  • Experience on sustainability and/or clean energy, in the APAC region.
  • Proven ability to deliver resources, tools, and platforms to provide guidance for organizations seeking to procure clean energy.
  • Eligible to work in the United States.

  • Understanding of global energy markets and clean energy solutions.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and tight deadlines.
  • Outstanding communication skills adaptable to different audiences.
  • An ability to adjust to new situations and requirements, as well as to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.

Physical Demands
  • Domestic and international travel for up to 20% annually.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Communicate verbally and in written form with great facility and must be able to be understood.
