Position Overview: We are currently seeking skilled Controls Technicians to support our projects across the country. This role involves significant travel, with a structured work schedule that includes both travel and on-site work commitments.
Typical Work Schedule:

Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and execute the installation of energy-efficient refrigeration motors and control systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
- Delegate tasks effectively to ensure project completion within established timelines.
- Conduct certifications for chemical fume hoods and kitchen exhaust systems.
- Install advanced control equipment for refrigeration units.
- Coordinate with clients to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.
- Manage project budgets, reporting any discrepancies promptly.
- Facilitate client training and warranty processes as necessary.
- Fulfill additional responsibilities as required.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of one year of experience with HVAC systems and controls.
- Basic knowledge of HVAC operations and environmental control systems.
- Familiarity with electrical systems.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and email communication.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for work.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical tasks including bending, climbing, and maintaining balance.
- Capable of kneeling, crouching, and making repetitive motions.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods and use hands for handling tools and equipment.
Compensation and Benefits: EMCOR Government Services offers a competitive salary range of $35 - $45 per hour along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision coverage, health savings accounts, life insurance, disability, a 401(k) savings plan, and an employee assistance program.
