The Mid-Market Account Executive role focuses on enhancing sales across 30 key accounts within Autodesk's Construction division. You will be assigned a sales quota and assessed on your ability to meet quarterly and annual targets through diverse sales strategies. Your primary aim is to become a trusted advisor for clients, facilitating sales through renewals and acquiring new business. Become a part of Autodesk's rapidly expanding construction sector and contribute to delivering vital technology to the industry.
This remote position reports to the Mid Market Sales Manager for the Southeast region.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee your client portfolio by introducing new products and expanding renewals to achieve sales targets.
- Formulate account strategies and manage sales cycles for both new and renewed contracts.
- Generate a consistent pipeline of new opportunities to meet quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Represent Autodesk effectively, conduct client presentations, foster strong relationships, and engage in industry events.
- Encourage collaborative selling and work alongside various team members.
- Collaborate closely with your account team, including Business Development Representatives, Customer Success Managers, and channel partners.
- Deliver precise business forecasts.
- Lead strategic account planning sessions in partnership with your account team.
Minimum Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of experience with a proven record of meeting sales quotas.
- Sales experience in enterprise software within sectors such as Architecture, Engineering, Construction, or Manufacturing.
- Demonstrated experience in prospecting and engaging with C-level executives.
- Proven skills in closing deals and negotiation.

Salary Transparency
Autodesk offers competitive compensation packages, with U.S.-based sales roles having an On-Target Earnings (OTE) ranging from $186,200 to $269,500. OTE includes base salary and commission targets, while offers depend on experience and location. In addition to base salaries and OTE, bonuses, stock grants, and benefits are prioritized.
