Job Title: Sr Product Manager

Join Kohler Energy, a global leader in energy resilience, as a Sr Product Manager responsible for developing, growing, and maintaining our residential and light commercial product lines related to delivering amps.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and identify growth opportunities in the residential and light commercial market related to new products delivering amps.
  • Conduct market research to understand consumer needs and trends, and perform voice of customer research to support channel partner goals.
  • Develop and communicate strategic product roadmaps to accelerate long-term growth and take share from competition.
  • Create and justify product specifications that position Kohler in all required product nodes while creating differentiation between competitive products.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Communications, Technical Publications, Service, and Training to create new product launch material.
  • Provide product knowledge and support to sales and service teams to effectively support channel partners.
  • Monitor product component costs to provide Kohler with optimal margins.
  • Understand local and national codes and standards related to energy delivery and partner with internal and external stakeholders to navigate and specify product requirements.
Requirements:
  • B.S. in Engineering, Business, or Marketing.
  • 4-6 years of product marketing/management and/or product engineering experience with project management skills and exposure to strategic planning, consumer product marketing, and functional group financials.
  • Generator, engine, or power distribution experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication skills with all levels of management and internal and external stakeholders.
