Position Overview:

The role is pivotal in delivering exceptional customer support to both internal stakeholders and external clients concerning product availability, pricing, order management, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Address customer inquiries regarding orders, pricing, and other service-related questions.

• Align customer expectations with the sales team to effectively communicate commitments related to product availability and delivery timelines.

• Notify customers or sales representatives of any delays or issues, collaborating with the Plant Manager to resolve concerns.

• Cultivate and sustain robust business relationships with customers, sales representatives, and internal teams.

• Examine purchase orders and input data into the ERP system.

• Coordinate with the shipping department to manage shipment processes and follow up on customer requests.

• Ensure the ERP system is updated with accurate customer information, holding customers and sales representatives accountable for timely and detailed data.

• Generate and analyze reports to prioritize shipping activities for the following day, communicating any issues to relevant parties.

• Perform clerical duties including the creation, organization, and digitization of shipping documents such as packing slips, invoices, and bills of lading.

• Engage with third-party logistics providers and brokers for freight booking.

• May assist in managing sample inventory, including shipping samples, maintaining an organized sample area, and liaising with the inventory manager.
