Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Unit Manager Evening Shift to join our team at PACCAR. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and implement comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the efficient operation of our equipment and facilities.
  • Schedule and Coordinate Maintenance Activities: Schedule and coordinate maintenance activities across multiple shifts, including work involving contractors.
  • Ensure Compliance with Safety Protocols: Ensure that all maintenance activities are conducted in accordance with established safety protocols and procedures.
  • Lead and Develop Maintenance Team Members: Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to maintenance team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Monitor and Report Maintenance Metrics: Track and report on maintenance metrics, including equipment efficiency and other key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, engineering, and procurement, to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with business objectives.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering or industrial technology.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Leadership Experience: Prior experience in maintenance leadership roles, preferably in the heavy equipment industry.
  • PACCAR Experience: Prior experience working with PACCAR, preferably in a maintenance leadership role.
