Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner

Pixelle Specialty Solutions is a leading manufacturer of specialty papers in North America, with operations in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Ohio. We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner to join our team.
Job Summary:The Electrical and Instrumentation Maintenance Planner will be responsible for planning and supervising the maintenance, repair, and installation of equipment in the assigned area of responsibility. The successful candidate will apply practical knowledge of the work, tools, materials, and equipment used by the crafts under the maintenance function in estimating, planning, and scheduling the work.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, lead, and direct crew/team members with safe work practices.
- Provide for the effective and timely completion of maintenance work by planning, scheduling, and supervising the manpower, materials, and equipment of maintenance.
- Work closely with production and other supervisors and planners throughout the plant in making estimates, determining priorities, and scheduling the crafts.
- Handle deadlines, variable workloads, and being on call 24 hours, when needed.
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or two-year technical degree or equivalent desired.
- Three to five years of electrical planning experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred, but not required.
- Experience with project management and planning, predictive and preventative maintenance programs desired.
- Ability to handle deadlines, variable workloads, and being on call, as required.
- Ability to work both independently and as a team member.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office application.
- SAP experience (particularly SAP Maintenance), a plus.
- Microsoft Project experience, a plus.
