Treasury Operations Specialist Job Summary

The Treasury Operations Specialist plays a vital role in the system onboarding of all Treasury products and services at WaFd Bank. This position is responsible for developing and maintaining processes and procedures related to Treasury Operations, ensuring seamless execution of assigned duties, and providing exceptional customer service to internal business lines.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor and resolve suspended eACH batches to minimize client impact
  • Handle the onboarding and maintenance of Treasury Management products, including Commercial Banking Online, Positive Pay, eACH, eWire, and scanDeposit
  • Analyze commercial account analysis fees and statements, maintaining monthly analysis invoices
  • Drive consistency in Treasury documentation, such as service agreements
  • Resolve operational issues to customer and bank satisfaction, escalating systematic issues as needed
  • Adhere to bank policies and procedures designed to comply with Federal regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, USA Patriot Act, and OFAC regulations
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in banking, accounting, or finance
  • Strong typing and clerical skills, with accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of Microsoft Access preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including customer relations skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with excellent organizational and time management skills
