Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Specialist

About the Job:

As a Substance Abuse Rehabilitation Specialist at Bernalillo County, you will work closely with clients to provide comprehensive detoxification and treatment services.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans for clients
  • Provide education and support to clients throughout their recovery journey
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination
  • Maintain accurate records and reports to track client progress
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices in addiction treatment
Requirements:

We are seeking an individual with a high school diploma and two years of experience working in substance abuse, healthcare, law enforcement, emergency management, or corrections. A Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) certification is preferred.

Compensation:

The estimated annual salary for this position is $35,000 - $50,000, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, Bernalillo County offers a range of benefits, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
