Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Palo Alto

Work Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days per week.

Compensation: $180,000 - $200,000

Role Summary:

The VP Product position provides an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to lead the integration of generative AI technology, aiming to transform the $105 billion digital assurance and software quality management sector. This role is pivotal in leveraging generative AI to present a revolutionary alternative to conventional test automation techniques, initiating quality assurance from the software requirements definition stage. The successful candidate will spearhead this innovative shift in a vast market and enable forward-thinking clients and partners to adopt this cutting-edge technology within their DevOps and software development frameworks. The initial emphasis on digital assurance for data applications will serve as a crucial growth driver for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Steer the product vision, strategic direction, and business initiatives, including product roadmaps and lifecycle management.
  • Oversee the design of a groundbreaking quality assurance methodology for both code generation and traditional development processes.
  • Establish metrics to assess product accuracy, success, and business ROI, while formulating strategies to enhance customer satisfaction. This involves creating business cases, identifying opportunities, and evaluating strategic alignment based on technical feasibility.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key partners, such as data platforms and testing service providers, to develop joint solutions and initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough market and customer research to gather, validate, and analyze product and market requirements.
  • Draft functional specifications for product features, ensuring effective design, rapid prototyping, validation testing, and usability assessments throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Lead pricing strategies and cross-functional requirements to successfully launch offerings.
  • Collaborate closely with engineering teams to drive innovation and prioritize development in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Represent the organization in industry-wide discussions and forums.

Candidate Profile:

  • Possess extensive domain expertise and practical knowledge in modern DevOps and testing frameworks.
  • Experience with cloud data platforms is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience in DevOps organization, rapid release cycles, and agile methodologies.
  • Technical background with insights into cloud-native trends and agile tooling applications.
  • Familiarity with application interfaces of cloud data platforms and observability tools is advantageous.
  • Exposure to LLM-driven code generation is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of testing methodologies, including behavior-driven design and machine learning/AI, is a plus.
  • Passion for delivering customer value through innovative data science and technology applications.
  • Proven track record of introducing disruptive technologies to the market.
  • Able to engage developer communities with enthusiasm around new technological capabilities and business models.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning and data processing technologies.
