Job Overview

This role is ideal for an organized and detail-oriented individual who enjoys working with people. The Front Office Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring seamless patient experiences, from scheduling appointments to handling insurance verification and billing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally.
  • Schedule patient appointments efficiently, taking into account their availability and treatment plans.
  • Verify insurance coverage for patients, including verifying policy details and checking for any out-of-pocket costs.
  • Collect and manage patient balances accurately, ensuring timely payment processing.
  • Oversee patient health information securely, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Validate treatment plans' accuracy based on insurance benefits, ensuring that patients receive the necessary care without unnecessary expenses.
  • Ensure a seamless patient experience throughout their visit, from check-in to check-out, making them feel relaxed and at ease.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficiency in dental patient management software, such as Open Dental or Dentrix.
  • Prior experience working at the front desk of a dental office preferred.
  • Familiarity with dental terminology highly preferred.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Attention to detail and adaptability essential for this role.
