Key Responsibilities- Design and develop power-efficient, high-performance 3D graphics processor micro-architectures targeted for low-power mobile devices and high-performance personal computers.
- Explore design trade-offs and exercise rigorous design principles to ensure the delivery of best-in-class GPUs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pioneer micro-architectural specifications and contribute to the development of pioneering micro-architectural specifications.
- Drive the bring-up and debug of complex designs, leveraging expert knowledge of low-power techniques and timing optimizations.
- BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
- Strong background in GPU, CPU, or SIMD architectures.
- Expert knowledge of logic design, low-power techniques, and timing optimizations.
- Ability to drive bring-up and debug of complex designs.
- Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
- Experience designing GPU Schedulers, Execution Units, Texture/Pixel Units, or Caches.
- Detailed understanding of synthesis tools, timing analysis, floor planning, and the PNR flow.
- Experience in hardware performance analysis.
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
