Role Summary

You will work closely with multi-functional teams in architecture, validation, modeling, and physical design to deliver high-quality, low-power graphics IP that meets our performance, timing, and area goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop power-efficient, high-performance 3D graphics processor micro-architectures targeted for low-power mobile devices and high-performance personal computers.
  • Explore design trade-offs and exercise rigorous design principles to ensure the delivery of best-in-class GPUs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to pioneer micro-architectural specifications and contribute to the development of pioneering micro-architectural specifications.
  • Drive the bring-up and debug of complex designs, leveraging expert knowledge of low-power techniques and timing optimizations.
Requirements
  • BS degree and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
  • Strong background in GPU, CPU, or SIMD architectures.
  • Expert knowledge of logic design, low-power techniques, and timing optimizations.
  • Ability to drive bring-up and debug of complex designs.
  • Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing GPU Schedulers, Execution Units, Texture/Pixel Units, or Caches.
  • Detailed understanding of synthesis tools, timing analysis, floor planning, and the PNR flow.
  • Experience in hardware performance analysis.
  • Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.
