GPU RTL Design Engineer

As a member of Apple's GPU Design team, you will develop power-efficient, high-performance 3D graphics processor micro-architectures targeted for low-power mobile devices and high-performance personal computers that are used by millions of people every day.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and develop high-quality, low-power graphics IP that meets performance, timing, and area goals.
• Explore design trade-offs, exercising rigorous design principles, and contribute to pioneering micro-architectural specifications to design best-in-class GPUs.
• Collaborate closely with multi-functional teams in architecture, validation, modeling, and physical design to deliver high-performance graphics solutions.
Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, and a minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
• Strong background in GPU, CPU, or SIMD architectures, with expert knowledge of low-power techniques and timing optimizations.
• Expert knowledge in System Verilog HDL and ability to drive bring up and debug of complex designs.
• Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience designing GPU Schedulers, Execution Units, Texture/Pixel Units, or Caches.
• Detailed understanding of synthesis tools, timing analysis, floor planning, and the PNR flow.
• Experience in hardware performance analysis and scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Perl.

• Competitive base pay, with a range of $166,600 to $296,300, depending on skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
