Role Summary

As a GPU Performance Analysis Engineer at Apple, you will play a crucial role in designing and manufacturing our next-generation, high-performance, power-efficient GPU. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that Apple products and services can seamlessly and efficiently handle the tasks that make them beloved by millions.

Key Responsibilities

Analyze unit and system-level performance issues to identify areas for improvement.
Quantify the performance benefit of features and algorithms implemented in hardware or software.
Conduct studies and contribute solutions to performance challenges related to GPU design.
Participate in microarchitecture specification and RTL logic design in the GPU team.

Requirements

Experience with Verilog, C, and C++ programming languages.
Experience with scripting in Python.
Bachelor's degree and minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience.
Preferred qualifications include experience in computer architecture, GPUs, or memory hierarchy design, as well as experience in characterizing performance and debugging performance issues.
