Job Title: Senior GPU Architect

Description: We are seeking an experienced Senior GPU Architect to join our team at MediaTek. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and optimizing GPU clusters for industry-leading GPU hardware IP. They will collaborate with our Architecture and Software teams to develop cluster-level HW specifications that meet feature functionality and PPA metrics. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in computer architecture, SoC architecture, and performance tuning. They will also have hands-on experience with SystemVerilog, VHDL, C, and C++ programming languages.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize GPU clusters for industry-leading GPU hardware IP.
  • Collaborate with Architecture and Software teams to develop cluster-level HW specifications.
  • Develop and implement performance tuning and area/power optimization flows.
  • Analyze and debug code pre-silicon and post-silicon issues.
  • Construct reliable and trustworthy relationships across teams internally and externally.

Requirements:

  • BS, MS or PhD degree in Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related majors.
  • 5+ years of working experience in RTL design, micro-architecture, and architecture for complex GPU or processor subsystems.
  • Hands-on experience with SystemVerilog, VHDL, C, and C++ programming languages.
  • Knowledge of computer architecture, SoC architecture, performance tuning, and area/power optimization flows.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including both verbal and written communication.
