About the Role

Dignity Health - California Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly skilled Trauma Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and lead clinical staff functions in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver individualized care focusing on family medicine and preventive health care to patients in a Level II trauma center.
  • Supervise and oversee all clinical staff functions, including planning, organizing, delegating, and controlling activities under the supervision of the Clinic Manager.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Develop and implement effective patient care plans, utilizing evidence-based practices and staying up-to-date with the latest clinical guidelines.
  • Provide education and training to clinical staff on best practices, new procedures, and emerging trends in trauma care.

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years experience as a PNP in a trauma setting.
  • Current BCLS and PALS certification and Los Angeles County Fire Card required.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, maturity, and strong communication skills.
  • Nurse Practitioner licensure and current licensure by Board of Registered Nursing State of California.
