About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team at Tia, a modern medical home for women. As a Nurse Practitioner at Tia, you will be an integral part of our care delivery system, providing high-quality, patient-centered care to women of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary care and gynecological services to women, including annual exams, pap smears, and birth control counseling
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of primary care concerns that affect women throughout their lifespan
  • Collaborate with our product and engineering teams to shape the technology in women's healthcare
  • Participate in the formation and iteration of our technology development cycles
Requirements
  • Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner (women's health nurse practitioner or family nurse practitioner preferred)
  • Unrestricted license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of California
  • Experience providing gynecology services, including STD screens, UTI and vaginal infections consults, PID, pelvic pain, vaginal bleeding, birth control counseling, annual exams, and pap smears
  • Comfortable working with a wide range of primary care concerns that affect women throughout their lifespan
  • Strong skills in performing colposcopies, biopsies, and IUD placements or a desire to learn
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience or formal training weaving integrative medicine practices into your care plan development
  • Strong understanding of and interest in chronic stress and trauma as it relates to immune system compromise and inflammatory response systems
  • Contracted with major payers (BCBS / Anthem, Cigna, Aetna, United)
