Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Regional Safety Lead to join our team at Gregory Construction. As a key member of our safety team, you will be responsible for promoting a safety-focused culture on our job sites and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Communication
  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to identify and mitigate potential safety risks.
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Safety Training and Development
  • Design and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive safety manuals and procedures.
  • Conduct regular training sessions to ensure employees are aware of and understand safety protocols.
Incident Investigation and Reporting
  • Investigate and document all incidents and near-misses.
  • Develop and implement corrective actions to prevent future incidents.
  • Prepare and submit incident reports to regulatory agencies as required.
Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies and industry associations.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in regulations and industry standards.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience
  • 5 years of experience in a construction job site environment.
  • OSHA 510 and CHST certification preferred.
  • Strong computer proficiency and knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
