A Loan Servicing Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring a seamless experience throughout the duration of a client's loan. This position involves the accurate upload of finalized loans into our core system, ongoing maintenance of loan records, and adherence to compliance standards throughout the loan lifecycle.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ENSURE ACCURACY AND DETAIL ORIENTATION

  • Finalize the upload process for newly closed loans into our core system, ensuring compliance with established procedures and standards. Responsible for managing loan details, including payment adjustments, tax tracking, and insurance payments, while confirming the adequacy of collateral as required.

ENHANCE CLIENT SERVICE

  • Collaborate effectively with lenders, underwriters, and client service representatives to address client needs and resolve any issues that arise. Prioritize client satisfaction through effective multitasking and communication.

CULTIVATE A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Exhibit a proactive attitude towards change management and demonstrate strong communication skills through constructive dialogue and teamwork. Strive to provide exceptional experiences for both clients and colleagues, while engaging in community outreach and volunteer initiatives.

ADOPT TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS

  • Identify and implement technological efficiencies to streamline banking processes. Stay updated on advancements in banking technology and internal systems.

PURSUIT OF PROFESSIONAL GROWTH

  • Engage in training opportunities to enhance understanding of servicing regulations and improve operational efficiency. Career advancement includes mastering all facets of the loan servicing department and its responsibilities.

Training programs are available to assist employees in understanding the impact of their roles across the bank, providing essential tools for effective communication and success in their positions. Some travel may be required for training or seminars.

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the essential job requirements satisfactorily. A high school diploma or GED is mandatory, with relevant experience and further education preferred.   • LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Ability to read, understand, and interpret documents. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective verbal and written interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • TECHNOLOGICAL COMPETENCE: Proficient in using telephone systems and computer applications, including email and internet navigation. Experience with core transaction systems and other relevant software is advantageous.
  • MATHEMATICAL APTITUDE: Capable of performing basic arithmetic operations and interpreting data through graphs and ratios.
  • PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: Ability to apply logical reasoning to follow instructions and resolve complex issues in standardized situations.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: This role is conducted in a professional office setting, requiring significant time at a desk utilizing office equipment. The environment is moderately noisy, with frequent communication and interaction with others. Occasional travel may be necessary for market visits or training.
