A Loan Servicing Specialist is dedicated to providing exceptional service throughout the duration of the client's loan. This role involves the accurate entry of finalized loans into our core systems, ongoing maintenance of these loans, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
ENSURE ACCURACY AND DETAIL ORIENTATION
- Finalize the upload of new loans into our core system, ensuring adherence to established procedures and compliance requirements. Responsible for maintaining loan records, including payment adjustments, tax tracking, and insurance management, while confirming the adequacy of collateral as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with lenders, underwriters, and client service representatives to address client needs and resolve any issues that arise. Prioritize client satisfaction through effective multitasking.
- Exhibit a proactive attitude towards change, showcasing excellent communication skills through constructive interactions and teamwork. Strive to create outstanding experiences for both clients and colleagues, while engaging in community outreach initiatives.
- Identify and implement technological efficiencies to streamline banking processes. Stay abreast of advancements in banking technology and internal systems.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance understanding of regulations impacting loan servicing. Seek opportunities for process improvement and efficiency. Career advancement entails mastering all aspects of the loan servicing department.
Training programs are available to help employees comprehend the impact of their roles on other bank functions, equipping them with tools for effective communication and success in their positions. Some travel may be required for training purposes.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience
To excel in this role, candidates must meet the essential job requirements, which include a high school diploma or GED, with relevant experience and higher education preferred. - LANGUAGE SKILLS: Proficient in reading, understanding, and interpreting documents. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective written and verbal interactions with clients and colleagues.
