Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing materials and supplies for assigned inventory and non-stock items
  • Generating purchase orders and ensuring order confirmation from suppliers and system updates
  • Resolving errors on purchase orders and investigating damaged or incorrectly received materials
  • Filling purchase orders and reviewing min-max or order inventory stock levels
Requirements
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Good analytical skills and knowledge of purchasing practices, principles, and procedures
  • Understanding of chemical, physical, and technical properties of steel
  • ERP experience
