A Loan Servicing Specialist is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience throughout the duration of the client's loan. This role involves the accurate entry of finalized loans into our core system, performing necessary updates as changes arise during the loan's lifecycle, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

ENSURE ACCURACY AND DETAIL ORIENTATION

  • Finalizes the upload process for all newly closed loans into our core system, ensuring adherence to established procedures and compliance standards. Responsible for maintaining loan records, including payment adjustments, tax tracking, and insurance management, while confirming the adequacy of collateral as needed.

ENHANCE CLIENT SERVICE

  • Collaborates effectively with lenders, underwriters, and client service representatives to address client needs and resolve any issues that may arise. Prioritizing client satisfaction requires strong multitasking abilities.

CULTIVATE A POSITIVE WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • Exhibits a proactive attitude towards change management and demonstrates strong communication skills through effective collaboration. Strives to provide outstanding experiences for both clients and colleagues, while actively participating in community outreach and volunteer initiatives.

ADOPT TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATIONS

  • Seeks out technological efficiencies to streamline banking processes. Embraces advancements in banking technology and internal systems.

Training programs are available to help employees grasp how this role influences other areas of the bank, equipping them with tools for effective communication and success in their position. Some travel may be required for training or seminars.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the essential job requirements satisfactorily. A high school diploma or GED is required, with relevant experience and further education preferred.   • LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret various documents. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for effective written and verbal interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • TECHNOLOGICAL COMPETENCE: Proficient in using telephone systems and possessing solid computer skills, including email and internet navigation. Experience or willingness to learn core transaction systems and other relevant software is necessary.
  • MATHEMATICAL APTITUDE: Capable of performing basic arithmetic operations and interpreting data through graphs and ratios.
  • PROBLEM-SOLVING SKILLS: Ability to apply logical reasoning to follow instructions and solve complex problems in standardized situations.
  • WORK ENVIRONMENT: This position operates in a professional office setting, requiring considerable time at a desk using office equipment. The noise level is moderate, with frequent communication and interaction with others. Occasional travel may be necessary for training or events.
