Key Responsibilities:- Splice and crimp leads, and connect leads to terminal blocks.
- Maintain inventory of necessary items and ensure a clean work environment.
- Measure and cut pressboard as needed, and operate wood cutting equipment to make maple support blocks for the CT.
- Review drawings and follow Bill of Materials to ensure accurate assembly.
- Document all work and maintain accurate records.
- Monitor equipment and load tank assemblies in/out of the oven.
- Test finished assemblies prior to moving them into the oven.
- Use the Infor ERP computer system to log in and track time by item and job.
- Meet or exceed daily production goals and quality requirements.
- Dexterity and hand-eye coordination to grasp, manipulate, or assemble small parts.
- Basic math skills to read tape measures and use computers.
- Mechanical skills to operate hand and power tools, and use programmable motion-control devices.
- Technical skills to understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
- Physical strength to lift heavy components (75+ pounds).
- Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience and proven work stability history.
- Basic computer knowledge, data entry experience, and working knowledge of various equipment and tools.
- Operate material handling equipment, including forklifts or other equipment with appropriate training and/or ITEC certification.
