Job Description

Canyons School District is seeking a qualified Adjunct Faculty in Accounting to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty, you will be responsible for teaching Accounting courses and contributing to the development of our Accounting program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Teach Accounting courses to students of diverse backgrounds and learning styles.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of our students.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to students.
  • Participate in curriculum development and program evaluation.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to improve teaching and learning.
Requirements:
  • Possession of an unexpired California Community College Instructor Credential in Accounting.
  • OR - Master's in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration.
  • OR - Bachelor's in business with accounting emphasis or business administration with accounting emphasis or economics with an accounting emphasis AND Master's in business, business administration, business education, economics, taxation or finance.
  • OR - Bachelor's degree in accountancy or business administration with accounting concentration AND a CPA license.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience teaching Accounting courses.
  • Knowledge of accounting software and technology.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
