Job Summary

Canyons School District is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Culinary Arts Instructor - Wine Studies to join our team. As an Adjunct Faculty member, you will be responsible for teaching and mentoring students in the Culinary Arts program, with a focus on wine studies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach and develop curriculum for Culinary Arts and Wine Studies courses
  • Develop and implement effective teaching methods to engage students and promote learning
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide committees and activities
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement program goals and objectives
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Two years of professional experience in culinary arts or related field
  • California Community College Instructor Credential in Culinary Arts/Wine Studies
  • Ability to teach online courses with College of the Canyons
Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Culinary Arts or related field
  • Experience teaching culinary arts or related courses
  • Knowledge of wine studies and wine industry trends
Working Conditions

This is a part-time, adjunct faculty position. The successful candidate will be required to work on a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
