Responsibilities include:

  • Actively and efficiently managing the flow of patients through the clinic
  • Greeting patients and answering the telephone professionally

  • Rooming patients and assisting providers with medical histories
  • Documenting in the electronic health record and checking routine vital signs
  • Participating in proactive population management of chronic diseases

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Graduation from an accredited medical assistant program or one year of previous experience as a medical assistant in lieu of program completion required
  • Maintains current American Heart Association or Red Cross Basic Life Support Certification
  • Ability to write and verbally communicate in English
