Cambridge Health Alliance is seeking a Clinical Specialist II (APRN) to join our Adult Outpatient Psychiatry service. This is an opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team, providing a range of psychosocial care to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide evaluations and treatment for an assigned caseload of clients.
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary team and program leadership.
  • Facilitate clinical coordination of admissions, transfers, and discharges.
  • Demonstrate an on-going awareness of and participation in the Quality Improvement Program.
  • Assess medication needs of selected patients and prescribes medication according to established practice guidelines.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in the advanced practice role.
  • Graduate of an accredited National League of Nursing graduate school of nursing.
  • Master's degree (Nursing preferred) with a specialization in psychiatric mental health nursing or relevant clinical area.
  • Current Massachusetts licensure authorizing practice in an expanded role as a Psychiatric Nurse Clinical Specialist and authorization including prescriptive authority.
