Job Summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant II to join our Neuro ICU team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide exceptional patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to the development of innovative care strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations
  • Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic tests
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, including medication management and procedural interventions
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
  • Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
  • Current licensure as a Physician Assistant in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • 2+ years of experience in a critical care setting, preferably in Neuro ICU
  • Strong clinical skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
