Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our team at Gorove Slade. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in transportation engineering and project management, with a proven track record of delivering successful projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Development: Oversee the development of traffic engineering studies, including traffic impact studies, operational analysis, and safety evaluations.
  • Transportation Planning: Lead the development of Transportation Demand Management (TDM) plans to optimize transportation systems and reduce congestion.
  • Client Relationships: Actively participate in networking activities to strengthen client relationships and expand the firm's presence in the industry.
  • Data Analysis: Analyze transportation data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare technical reports, presentations, and documentation for clients, stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative transportation solutions.
  • Project Management: Oversee project management tasks, including budgeting, scheduling, and client communication.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as industry best practices.
  • Professional Development: Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure project success.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field.
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience in traffic engineering, transportation planning, or a similar role.
  • Skills: Proficiency in traffic analysis tools (e.g., Synchro, VISSIM, HCS) and GIS software.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in mentoring and team development.
  • Certifications: Professional Engineer (PE) license or the ability to obtain one is preferred.
